Online courses on the virtual campus of the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies
A collaboration between the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the eTeacher Group
The Hebrew University and eTeacher offer a variety of online courses for studying ancient languages as part of the online campus of the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies.
The courses were developed by researchers and expert lecturers and are offered to students around the world in multiple languages (including English, French, Korean, Russian, German, Spanish, and Portuguese).
The interactive learning method is based on online sessions in small classes, educational assignments, and exams on course topics.
eTeacher’s multimedia platform is used to operate synchronous courses in virtual classrooms, alongside real-time direct interaction between teachers and students.
As part of the courses of the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies, it is possible to earn academic credits from the Hebrew University*, subject to meeting course requirements and passing the exams held during the course:
Biblical Hebrew – Level A (Begginer)
Biblical Hebrew – Level B (Improved)
Biblical Hebrew – Level C (Intermediate)
Biblical Hebrew – Level D (Advanced)
Biblical Hebrew – Level E (Expert)
